Morocco…a gateway to North Africa, a stone-throw from Europe and a country of dizzying diversity. Here you will find Africa’s magnificent Atlas mountain ranges covered in snow, ready for hiking its valleys and conquering its summits, ancient Imperial cities, mind-boggling souks and alleys, mud villages clinging to the mountainside, nomad cave dwellers, traditional djellaba’s and donkey carts in the streets, jaw-dropping blue and yellow and green towns, crumbling clay kasbahs, the vast orange and yellow desolated Sahara desert, windy coastal towns ideal for water sports, traditions, cultures, exotic culinary flavours and architecture like nowhere else. Unlike other North African nations, Morocco has been inhabited by Berbers - Imazighen ("men of the earth") since circa 5,000 years ago. Divided into clans and tribes, they have always jealously guarded their independence which has helped them to preserve one of the African continent's most fascinating but vibrant cultural heritages and languages unique to the country. Experience Morocco through her narrow alleys of ancient neighborhoods, bringing you closer to the day-to-day lives and activities of the local people, who are certain to invite you in for a cup of traditional Moroccan mint tea, a time-honored ritual of hospitality and ceremony. This lifestyle comprises of ritualistic practices, simple Moroccan foods and symbols that bring pleasure to every day and are sure to captivate you as a visitor. The kingdom honours all annual celebrations, bringing Moroccans together through its famous moussems or festive religious events. These gatherings are opportunities for you to interact with and immerse yourself in the different traditions and cultures that make Morocco such a rich, diverse country.

I am a born South-African but have adopted Morocco as my 2nd country and the one place that I feel I truly belong to. I have travelled the lengths and breadth of Morocco many times, from the Mediterranean north to the extreme southern deserts, including meeting the nomadic cave Berbers, hiking the high Atlas Mountains Berber valleys in snow-storm conditions, and trekking through heat, rain and cold into the deep, sensational south-Sahara desert for weeks on end, with only a small team of nomad tour guide and camels. My love and understanding of Morocco as a country and her proud mountain and nomadic desert Amazigh people, through my many own interactions with them, enable me to present our clients with personalised bespoke itineraries incorporating not only the main en-route attractions, but also ensure interactive ancient traditional and cultural activities of each region, still very much alive today. For that reason, experienced in all that Morocco has to offer and your expert in women travels in Morocco, I am excited to host and lead our ladies only tours and deliver to you the best of experience.
